lIn many ways, this is what started it all. Completed in 2020, Her Kind represents the outset of my journey as a DP, and my fruitful colaboration with writer and director, Jacob Gusentine.
Burning with dread but not without tenderness, a young woman must re-evaluate her agency when her mother arrives in her new life, extending a broken olive branch, and forcing a choice.
